3. Visit the Weekly Street Markets
November is a good time to explore Orihuela Costa’s outdoor markets without the intense summer heat.
a. Playa Flamenca Street Market – Saturdays
Held every Saturday morning along Calle Nicolás de Bussi, this popular market offers fresh fruit and vegetables, clothing, accessories, household items and local produce.
Opening hours: Approximately 8 am–2 pm.
b. Aguamarina Market – Thursdays
Located in the Aguamarina area near Cabo Roig and Campoamor, this market offers fresh produce, clothing and everyday goods.
Opening hours: Approximately 8 am–2 pm.
Both markets provide an enjoyable morning outing, especially if you combine your visit with breakfast or lunch nearby.
4. Enjoy the Beaches and Coastal Walks

November is one of the quieter months for exploring Orihuela Costa’s coastline.
Popular places include:
- Playa Flamenca (Cala Estaca): A small sandy beach with attractive coastal scenery.
- Cabo Roig: Explore the coastal paths and enjoy views of the Mediterranean.
- Playa de la Glea: A spacious sandy beach in Campoamor, ideal for a peaceful walk.
- La Zenia Beach: Enjoy the seaside atmosphere without the peak-season crowds.
Some visitors still swim on warmer days, although sea temperatures are noticeably cooler than in summer.
Bring comfortable shoes for the coastal paths and a light jacket for breezier afternoons.
5. Play Golf in Orihuela Costa

November is a popular time for golf holidays, with more comfortable temperatures for walking the fairways.
Three established courses worth considering are:
- Villamartín Golf Club – An established course in the Villamartín area, popular with visiting golfers.
- Real Club de Golf Campoamor – An 18-hole course surrounded by attractive scenery.
- Las Colinas Golf & Country Club – A well-known championship course offering a premium golfing experience.
Advance tee-time booking is recommended, particularly for groups.
6. Shopping and Entertainment at Zenia Boulevard

La Zenia Boulevard remains one of the most popular places to visit in Orihuela Costa throughout November. The open-air shopping centre offers international shops, restaurants, cafés and family-friendly leisure facilities.
November also marks the build-up to Christmas, with seasonal decorations and festive entertainment often appearing during the month.
Check the shopping centre’s official events calendar for the confirmed 2026 Christmas lights switch-on and other activities.
7. Live Music, Restaurants and Local Entertainment

Cabo Roig, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and La Florida have a lively selection of pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues. Even outside the summer season, visitors can find tribute acts, karaoke evenings, quizzes and live music.
Schedules change regularly, so check individual venues or browse upcoming Orihuela Costa events on Eventbrite before heading out.
- Do not hesitate to check out Facebook for all the best local events during the month too!
8. Theatre, Cultural & Sports Events in Orihuela City

For an evening away from the coast, consider a performance at Teatro Circo Atanasio Díe Marín in historic Orihuela. The city hosts theatre, music, comedy and other cultural events throughout the year.
For up-to-date performances, exhibitions and cultural activities, visit the Orihuela Municipal Events Calendar.
- November 2026 also includes the Orihuela Monumental Half Marathon on 15 November, bringing runners and spectators into the historic city.
According to Ahotu, ”the Medio Maratón Ciudad de Orihuela challenges athletes with a dynamic urban half-marathon course in Alicante, Spain, organised by Club Tragamillas Orihuela. Competitors can choose between a classic half-marathon distance or a fast-paced 8 km race, both taking place on streets that showcase Orihuela’s architectural landmarks.”
